A mom made breakfast that is always so special and near to my heart. I use to relish this for breakfast each single day. Mom made hot and soft melt in mouth rotis at first, then would break them into pieces as tinier as possible with all her love being added into it as a bonus made this wonderful Maleeda as we Hydis call it. This is such a nostalgic one bringing back all the good old childhood memories. Today I do the same for my kids and believe me or not, I still eat it whenever I visit my mom who makes it with her beautiful hands and feeds me. That's the bond shared by a mother and her child that is so special and cannot be penned down in few words. A big hug to all the beautiful mom's out there. Love you Maa!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rotis 3
  2. Sugar 2 tbsp
  3. Ghee 1 tbsp
  4. Milk 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Break rotis into small pieces by hand.
  2. This is a bit time consuming process but it is definitely worth all the efforts put in.
  3. Do not grind the rotis.
  4. Add sugar and ghee to it.
  5. Ghee is however optional.
  6. Add hot cup of milk to it.
  7. Serve immediately for breakfast.
