ABOUT Potato Masala Poori RECIPE

Potato puri is a perfect breakfast or dinner recipe which tastes super delicious. Serve this pooris steaming hot.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 boiled potatoes
  2. 1 cup heat flour
  3. 1 tsp semolina/rava
  4. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  7. 1/2 tsp jeera
  8. 1/4 tsp carom seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp dry fenugreek leaves
  10. Oil for frying and coating
  11. Sslt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Take boiled potatoes, peeled and grated them.
  2. Add all ingredients, crushed carom seeds and dry fenugreek leaves.
  3. Add small portions of water and make stiff n soft dough.
  4. Coat with oil on outer surface.
  5. Cover and keep the dough aside for 15 to 20 minutes to set.
  6. Grease your hands with some oil, now divide the dough into small balls.
  7. Meanwhile heat enough oil in a wok.
  8. Grease the oil, roll out the dough into poori.
  9. The oil for frying the pooris should be rightly heated.
  10. Slide the roll poori in tHe oil , press it gently with the saddle to puff it up.
  11. The poori is golden brown from the other side as well.
  12. Drain out the fried poori on a plate.
  13. Serve these tempting poori with pickle, chutney or any other sabzi.
