Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. potato 3 medium
  2. radish 2
  3. haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  4. dhania powder 1 tsp
  5. chilli powder 1 tsp
  6. salt as required
  7. water as required
  8. Mattha (Sour buttermilk) 250 ml
  9. oil 2 tbsp
  10. jeera 1/2 tsp


  1. Wash and chop potatoes and radish into cubes.
  2. Take a wok. Add oil and jeera.
  3. Add cubed potatoes and mooli, stir fry for a few minutes. Add in all the dry ingredients.
  4. Add water for it to cook in steam. Stir and check after 10 minute intervals.
  5. When cooked, add in the mattha and let it boil.
  6. Adjust the consistency of the gravy as per choice. Serve hot.

what do you mean by mattha? is it buttermilk?
