Ingredients to make Tapkiya

  • Gaba leaves 250 gms
  • Turai 250 gms
  • mooli 2
  • hari mirch 3
  • namak as required
  • dhania powder 1 tsp
  • haldi powder a pinch
  • Mirch powder 1 tsp
  • water as required

How to make Tapkiya

  1. Wash and chop all the vegetables in small cubes.
  2. Take a pressure cooker and add in all the vegetables with a little water and salt.
  3. Let it whistle twice and allow it to cool.
  4. In a wok add oil. When it heats up, add jeera and hing.
  5. Add boiled vegetables from the cooker and fry all the ingredients.
  6. Mix well and let it cook for a few minutes. Serve hot.

My Tip:

I boiled all the vegetables in a pressure cooker for 1 whistle. You can directly cook them in a wok with a little water.
