ABOUT Palak Poori RECIPE

I had tasted these puris in a few wedding receptions. My family liked it very much. So tried preparing this recipe and it came out exactly like the one which I had tasted.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oil for frying
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  4. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  5. Wheat flour as required for poori dough
  6. Sooji rava 1 tbsp
  7. Coriander leaves a handful
  8. green chillies 3
  9. Palak leaves washed and chopped - 1 bowl

Instructions

  1. Grind together palak leaves, Coriander leaves and green chillies without adding water into a fine paste. Keep aside.
  2. Take a bowl. Add salt, jeera, turmeric powder, sooji rava, ground paste. Mix well. Add required water. Add wheat flour and knead into a Puri dough.
  3. Make equal sized balls and roll it into pooris.
  4. Deep fry in oil.
  5. Serve hot. No need of any side dish.

Made it today along with aloo masala it was yummy
