Ingredients to make Italian veg Calazone pockets

  • For the Dough
  • 1.5 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Half cup luke warm water
  • 3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1tsp salt
  • 2tsp olive oil
  • For stuffing
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 2 Chopped onions
  • 1 bowl sweet corns
  • 1 bowl chopped capsicum
  • 2 Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup cheese or paneer
  • 4-5 tsp grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1/2 black pepper powder
  • salt as per taste
  • one tablespoon Nigella seeds
  • one tablespoon White seasame seeds
  • 4-5 tsp milk

How to make Italian veg Calazone pockets

  1. Firstly take 1.5 tsp dry yeast and 1 tsp powdered sugar.put in a bowl or glass.add half glass luke warm water and leave it for 5 minutes.take 3 cup all purpose flour in a bowl.add 1 tsp salt.mix
  2. Now add prepared yeast mixture in the flour and knead well.make a dough
  3. put two tablespoon olive oil and covered it with cling film and rest for 2 hours
  4. now we will prepared stuffing for calazone pockets. for this heat a pan add some oil.when oil become hot add chopped garlic.saute for half second ot till light brown.add chopped onionsand saute till golden brown
  5. now add one cup sweet corns kernels and one cup chopped capsicum and saute for a minute
  6. now add two finally chopped tomatoes and saute till it become soft
  7. add one bowl paneer or cheese.saute for half minute
  8. now add two tablespoon pizza sauce and 3-4 spoon tomato sauce and mix well
  9. Add grated Mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning like mix Herbs and chilli flakes,salt and black pepper
  10. mix well and cook for 1 minute now the stuffing is ready let it be cool
  11. after 2 hour dough for calazone is ready
  12. Sprinkle some dry flour and knead well for 5 to 6 minutes.divide the dough into equal parts and make balls
  13. now make a chapati from the ball.and place stuffing.add some moxrella cheese on the top of the stuffing
  14. now make a pocket like this and press the sides with fork.Sprinkle some Nigella seeds and White seasame seeds on the it for 10 minutes
  15. Place the pockets in a greese tray .with the help of Brush apply some milk on the top of the pockets.
  16. now bake the pockets in a preheat oven for 20 minutes
  17. serve hot with sauce ..enjoy

You can also add vegetables for the stuffing of your choice
