Kaju Katli

Ingredients to make Kaju Katli

  • cashew nuts - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1/2 cup or as per taste
  • water 1/4 cup or 3 tbsp
  • clarified butter 1 tbsp

How to make Kaju Katli

  1. Grind cashews to a fine powder.
  2. Take a pan and heat it, add sugar and water, bring to a boil and make sugar syrup of one thread consistency.
  3. Add it to the cashew powder. Mix well so no lumps are formed.
  4. Cook till it is thick. Put on a greased plate with clarified butter. Cool it by mixing with a spoon.
  5. Once it is cool, take a butter paper and grease it with butter.
  6. Roll the cashew dough with the help of a rolling pin. Roll it thin and let it cool for 15 minutes. Cut them in desired shape and enjoy.
