About Orange burfi . Recipe

Nagpur special orange burfi is superb in taste .

Orange burfi .

Ingredients to make Orange burfi .

  • 1cup orange pulp
  • 1/2cup milk
  • 1cup milk powder.
  • Suagr as per taste or condensed milk
  • 1cup coconut powder
  • 1/2spoon cardamom powder
  • 1/2spoon orange zest
  • Pinch of orange colour (optional)
  • 1spoon clarrified butter (ghee)
  • Chopped dry fruits pistachio.

How to make Orange burfi .

  1. Take a pan heat it. Add 1/2cup full fat milk , one spoon clarrified butter and milk powder and stir continuously . There is no lumps remain .
  2. When it becomes thick like khoya than add sugar and again stir .
  3. Add coconut powder and orange pulp and mix well at medium flame .
  4. Add pinch of orange colour and orange zest .
  5. Add cardamom powder and cook till it becomes thick in consistency .
  6. Remove from the stove put into a grease mould and keep it for 6 hours as it is set .
  7. Remove from mould and cut pieces. Garnish with pistachio.
  8. Serve it .
