Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 Large size Rasgullas
  2. 1/2 kg milk
  3. 20 pistachio nuts
  4. 1/2 teaspoon elaichi powder.
  5. 10 strands of kesar

Instructions

  1. Put milk on boil . Add 1/2 teaspoon of Elaichi powder and 9-10 strands of kesar. Boil on simmer and keep stirring till the milk is reduced to 3/4 of its volume.
  2. Meanwhile chop the pistacho nuts.
  3. Gently press the rasgullas to flatten them.
  4. When the milk is reduced, add the rasgullas in the boiling milk and wait for 1 minute.
  5. Rasmalai is ready, shift in a serving bowl and decorate with pistachio nuts.
  6. Serve chilled.

This is what i call a jhatpat dessert for sudden guests. How did it taste? was the taste same as actual rasmalai..
