ABOUT Strawberry Mousse Parfait RECIPE

Mousse and parfait are different dessert. Here combine into two in one.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 cups whipping cream
  2. 1/3 cup white granulated sugar
  3. 250 ml cream cheese, soften at room temperature
  4. 1/2 cup white chocolate chips melted
  5. 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  6. 1 tsp strawberry extract
  7. Red food colour a few drops
  8. 2 cups strawberry puree
  9. 1 tbsp gelatin
  10. 2 to 3 tbsp water
  11. 2 cups chopped strawberries
  12. 170 gms packaged strawberry jello
  13. 1 cup boilling water
  14. 2 cups iced water
  15. Strawberry slices and grated white chocolate for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the whipped cream first. Pour the whipping cream into a bowl and add in the 1/3 cup sugar. Whisk on high speed until a fluffy whipped cream forms. Set the whipped cream into the fridge until required.
  2. Prepare the strawberry base. On a large bowl whisk together the softened cream cheese, melted white chocolate, condensed milk and strawberry extract. Add red food colour if desire.
  3. Whisk in the pureed strawberries, set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together gelatin and water. Microwave the mixture for 1 minute. Stirring every 10- 15 seconds. Until gelatin is completely dissolved. Pour the gelatin into the strawberry base and whisk until smooth.
  5. Remove the whipped cream from fridge. Fold the whipped cream into strawberry base. Mix together very gently. Keeping the cream light and fluffy.
  6. Pour prepared mousse into glass mugs or containers. Fill about three quarter of each glass. Top off each glass with chopped strawberries. Set the mousse into the fridge to set for 1 to 2 hours.
  7. Make sure the mousse is set before adding jello.
  8. Prepare the strawberry jello. Place the flavoured gelatin in bowl and add 1 cup boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Add the 2 cups iced water and stir until mixture is cooled. Using a ladle carefully pour the prepared jello over the set mousse. Fill to the top of each glasses. Set the dessert back into the fridge until completely set.
  9. On the top put strawberry slices and grated white chocolate and serve chilled
