Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For Puree
  2. 3 chopped tomato
  3. 1 inch ginger
  4. 2 cardmom
  5. 2-3 cloves
  6. 15-20 soaked cashew nuts
  7. Little salt
  8. For masala
  9. 250gm paneer
  10. 2 tbsp grated paneer
  11. 2 tbsp butter
  12. 2 tbsp oil
  13. 1 tej patta
  14. 1 tea spoon Kasuri methi
  15. 1 chopped onion
  16. 1 tea spoon turmeric powder
  17. 1.5 tea spoon red chili powder
  18. 1.5 tea spoon dhaniya powder
  19. Jeera powder
  20. Garam masala
  21. Water
  22. Chopped green coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tsp butter and 2 tsp oil. saute 1 bay leaf, 1 inch cinnamon, 1 chilli and 1 tsp kasuri methi
  2. Add choppedonion and saute well until the onions turn golden brown add  turmeric,chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder.
  3. Add in prepared tomato puree and mix well
  4. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, add 1 cup water, salt as per taste and mix well. Add  paneer and 2 tbsp grated paneer. mix and cook well.Turn off the flame
  5. Add garam masala and coriander mix well.
  6. Serve  paneer lababdar with roti / chapati or parantha
