ABOUT Chicken Banjara(dhaba style) RECIPE

Chicken cooked in butter and pepper is giving a twist to this silky chicken and the aroma of smoke is really mouth watering... cabbage saute in butter also gives a different taste with chicken.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chicken pieces 1kg
  2. Butter 50gm
  3. Black pepper powder 2tsp
  4. Ginger Garlic paste 1tbsp
  5. Shredded Cabbage 2cup
  6. Fried onion 1/2 cup
  7. Salt 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a non stick pan and then saute chicken with ginger garlic paste .
  2. Add black pepper powder, fried and crushed onion and salt and cook for 3 minutes. Season with salt and add half the fried onions
  3. Heat two small pieces of coal on gas stove until it glows. Put that in a small steel bowl and put this in the pan with the chicken.
  4. Put few drops of ghee on the coal and cover the pan with lid for 5-8 minutes.
  5. Take another pan, saute shredded cabbage with 1 tsp butter and keep aside.
  6. In a plate, garnish this the chicken with the buttered cabbage and a the remaining fried onions
  7. Serve warm
