Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For envelops---
  2. maida 2 cups
  3. salt 1/2 tsp
  4. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  6. egg 1
  7. Refined oil 5 Tbsp
  8. water as required
  9. For layering---
  10. olive oil 4 tbsp
  11. maida 1/2 cup(use as required)
  12. For stuffing--
  13. chicken boneless pieces 200 gms
  14. Refined oil 1 tbsp
  15. 2 tbsp chopped onion
  16. 1/2 TSP CHOPPED garlic
  17. 1/2 TSP CHOPPED ginger
  18. 1 tsp cornflour dissolved in 1/2 cup water
  19. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  20. 1/2 tsp salt
  21. 1/2 tsp chopped green chillies(opstional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare stuffing---
  2. Heat oil and add chopped ginger,garlic,onion
  3. Cook on medium flames for 1 min.
  4. Add chicken and cook for 3 min.
  5. Add rest of the ingredients and cook on medium flame for 1 - 2 min and switch off.
  6. Add baking powder,baking soda,salt,oil to maida and mix.
  7. Add egg and water knead if required to form a soft dough.put dough in a bowl let it rest for 30 min
  8. Make 5 roundles from the dough..
  9. Roll each roundel into really large but thin chapatti.
  10. Stack 5 chapatties one after the other spreading the olive oil uniformly on each layer layer dusting maida on each layer..
  11. Put the chapatti preparation and lightly roll to enlarge..
  12. Cut equal squares and place portion of the stuffing on each square.
  13. Gently fold into envelope sealing edges.
  14. For glazing brush egg white on top of each envelope.
  15. Preheat oven to 200 degree and bake for 20 min..
