ABOUT Homemade dates syrup RECIPE

Dates are rich in iron and its a healthy alternative to sugar.Its a natural sweetener and can be mixed with milk or drizzle in desserts etc..

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Dates 1 cup
  2. Water 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Clean the dates and remove the seeds
  2. Soak in hot water for atleast 2 hours
  3. Grind it smoothly along with the water and add some water and again grind it
  4. Now sieve it in a cloth
  5. Let it sit for atleast 30 mins so that all the water is collected
  6. Simmer and boil it and scrape it with spoon so that it is not burnt
  7. Boil it until the volume is reduced and becomes thick
