Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. One remote control car cake
  2. 200 gm clarified ghee at room temperature.
  3. 200 gm white chocolate chips
  4. 200 gm brown sugar
  5. 3/4 cup hot water
  6. 1 tablespoon american garden syrup
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  8. 2 Medium sized eggs
  9. 300 gm maida (refined flour)
  10. 3/4 tablespoon baking powder
  11. 1/4 tablespoon baking soda
  12. 250 gm Red colour fondant
  13. 100 gm black colour fondant

  1. For this we need one remote control car of any bright colour, generally red since this colour attracts kids the most. Now remove the upper part of car with help of screwdriver and take the lower part of the car and wrap it with cling film.
  2. Make sure it moves with remote control. Now keep it aside.
  3. Now lets make the cake, preheat oven at 170 C. Start by placing ghee, white chocolate, brown sugar, water, golden syrup and vanilla essence in a heavy-based pan.
  4. Stir over medium-low heat with a wooden spoon chocolate melts and syrup is smooth. Allow it to cool completely.
  5. beat eggs well in a separate bowl.
  6. Add maida, baking powder and baking soda to the chocolate mixture and mix with a light hand, combine eggs to it.
  7. pour the mixture in a baking tin (bake in a square tin, that way it will be easier to cut and shape for a car). And bake for 30 minutes or when the knife comes clean when inserted in the middle of the cake. keep it aside to cool.
  8. Now prepare for the decorations, knead red colour fondant and black fondnat until pliable. roll it out
  9. Cut the cake in three parts with the ratio of 1:2:3 and put it in reverse on the car base which is covered with cling film. Now shape it like a car.
  10. Although this cake is very moist but if you like you can spray some diluted caramel sauce over the cake before covering it with fondant.
  11. cover the cake with fondant like the original car toy design. You can write kiddo's name on it.
  12. Now get ready to surprise your kid with this remote control car cake. At first it will look like a car toy and then when you will tell it is a cake, it will blow their mind and they will talk about it for a long time.
