Its a french recipe usually cooked with egg but i baked it without egg and used veggies and olives and gave it a different flaour..its a healthy recipe for kids.kids who dont like to eat veggies ,in this form of a beautiful cake they will surely lv it..

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 bowl semolina
  2. 1 bowl curd
  3. 1 grated carrot
  4. 1 grated potato
  5. 1 chopped onion
  6. 1 cup boiled green peas
  7. 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  8. 3 tsp rings of olives
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. 1 tbsp black pepper powder
  11. 2 big spoon oil
  12. 1 tsp musturd seeds
  13. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  14. 1 tsp white seasame seeds
  15. 1/2 tsp bakng soda
  16. 2 tsp chopped green coriander
  17. Water as per need

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl.add semolina and curd.mix well.rest it for 10 minutes
  2. Add vegetables in the mixture
  3. Add salt blackpepper and water as required to make a batter
  4. Mix it.now add grated ginger and mix well.
  5. Now heat a pan and add musturd seeds and cumin seeds...when starts crackling turn off the flame.
  6. Transfer the tadka in the prepared batter
  7. Mix well.grease a baking tray and place butter paper.
  8. Now add baking soda in the batter and mix well
  9. Transfer the batter in a tray and sprinkle seasame seeds and olives rings on the top.tap the tray to avoid air bubbles
  10. Bake the cake in preheat oven at 180 degrees F for about 20 minutes.check with toothpick if it is sticky then bake for another minutes.
  11. Cake is ready.let it b cool and transfer in a plate.garnish with chooped coriander and with sauce and with lots of love...enjoy
