ABOUT Dosadilla RECIPE

A quick dish for those unbearable hangry moments.. This one is a tweaked version of Quesadilla. Crispy golden Dosa which has spicy potato stuffing and some yummy cheese... totally filling and delicious!!!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Dosa batter - 300ml or as required
  2. For potato stuffing:
  3. Boiled potato - 2medium
  4. Onion cubes - 3tspn
  5. Coriander leaves - 2tspn
  6. Green chillies - 1 finely chopped
  7. Coriander powder - 1/2tspn
  8. Cumin powder - 1/2 tspn
  9. Kashmiri Red chilly powder - 1/2 tspn
  10. Salt - according to taste
  11. Mozzarella cheese - 1/4cup
  12. Cheddar cheese - 1/4cup
  13. Amchur - 1/4th tspn

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing vessel add grated potatoes, finely chopped onion pieces, finely cut coriander leaves and chilly pieces. Add all spices and salt. Mix well. Add grated cheese and mix well. Check for spice level and adjust accordingly.
  2. Heat the tawa for making dosa. Pour batter and spread it to medium thick dosa. Pour oil on sides.
  3. When dosa is 3/4th cooked add the potato mixture and spread it evenly to cover semi circle. Cook for a minute. Reduce flame to low. Now fold the dosa and seal the stuffing by pressing it with spatula. Cook on both sides till golden crisp and brown. Cut pieces like pizza.
  4. Serve hot with tomato ketchup/ chutney or dip of your choice.
