It's a very soft and moist cake.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. maida 1 cup
  2. sugar 3/4 cup
  3. oil 1/2 cup
  4. eggs 3
  5. Baking powder 2 tsp
  6. Cocoa powder 4 tsp
  7. 3-4 plums
  8. Handful of Dry fruits, chopped and roasted
  9. Milk 2 tsp
  10. Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  11. Tooty fruity 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take the maida/flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together. Sieve it well.
  2. Grind the sugar with oil first, then grind it again with eggs and vanilla essence.
  3. Pour this mixture in a big bowl, add in the maida/flour slowly then add the milk, dry fruits and tooty fruity.
  4. Pour this in a greased mould.
  5. Bake it in a preheated oven for 30 mins. Once cooked, let it cool and demould.
  6. Slice the plums. Then take some sugar in a pan and caramelize it, add some unsalted butter and coat the plum slices with caramelized sugar to decorate the cake.
