It is very healthy parathas because lot's of vegetables added into the filling and kids loves so much to eat this type of attractive shapes parathas .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2cup wheat Flour
  2. 1/2cup All purpose flour
  3. 3-4tabs spinach puree
  4. 1/2tsp carom seeds
  5. 2 tsp oil
  6. Salt to test
  7. For fish paratha filling****--
  8. 2boiled potato
  9. 1/4cup fine chopped carrot
  10. 1/4cup fine chopped beans
  11. 2tabs green peas
  12. 1onion fine chopped
  13. 1 tabs ginger, green chilli paste
  14. 1/2tsp turmeric powder
  15. Pinch of hing/Asafoetida
  16. 1tsp lemon juce
  17. 2tabs chopped coriander leaves
  18. 2tsp oil
  19. Salt to test
  20. 1/4cup ghee/butter

Instructions

  1. Firstly add flour, carom seeds, salt, oil and spinach puree into a bowl. Mix well
  2. Add water as per need and make a soft dough. Cover it and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Now heat up a pan add oil, asafoetida, chopped onion, ginger, green chilli paste and saute until light golden color.
  4. Now add chopped veggies and saute 2-3minutes . Then add turmeric powder, salt and boiled mashed potato mix it well. And cook 1-2 minutes more.
  5. Now add chopped coriander leaves and lemon juce. Mix it well switch off the flame. fish filling are ready.
  6. Now take the dough and roll it into a 12 inch square that is about 1/8 inch thick. Using a rolling pin.
  7. Draw a fish shape on a piece of paper and cut it out.
  8. Place the fish pattern on top of the dough and cut it out with a sharp knife.
  9. Spread prepared filling over the fish paratha. Leaving about 1/2 inch around the edges. So that we can seal it.
  10. Brush the edges of the paratha with some water. Then place additional parathas fish over the top and press down the edges to seal. After that we can decorate the fish with eye, mouth and scales.
  11. Now heat up a non stick tava spread some butter /oil over it. Place the prepared fish paratha on it. And cook both side turn nice golden color and crispy.
  12. Now mix veg stuff fish fry paratha is ready. Serve it with sauce and any chutney.
