Ingredients: 4-5 pieces of vanilla sponge cake; 1 and 1/2 cups of vanilla custard; 2 tsp of butter; 3 tbsp of mascarpone cheese; 1 cup of strongly brewed coffee; 1 tsp of sugar; Chocolate shavings 2-3 tbsp to garnish; Strawberries 4-5 to garnish

4-5 pieces of vanilla sponge cake
1 and 1/2 cups of vanilla custard
2 tsp of butter
3 tbsp of mascarpone cheese
1 cup of strongly brewed coffee
1 tsp of sugar
Chocolate shavings 2-3 tbsp to garnish
Strawberries 4-5 to garnish

Instructions

Make custard out of the custard powder as per the instructions on the packet. (Go for vanilla flavored custard.) While it's hot, add the butter to it and mix it well. Let it chill in the refrigerator before using it to make the tiramisu.
Beat the mascarpone cheese in a bowl. To it add the custard and mix it well until everything gets blended well together.
To the coffee, add sugar while it is hot. (The coffee should be mildly hot when using it to assemble the tiramisu.)
In a glass, make a layer of the sponge cake. Moisten the cake with the coffee and top it with a layer of the custard.
Repeat the sponge cake layer and custard layer until you fill the entire glass. Chill it in the refrigerator overnight.
Before serving, garnish it with some chocolate shavings and strawberries.
