Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups gramflour
  2. 2 cups sugar
  3. 1/4 Tea spooon cardamom powder
  4. 1/2 spoon baking powder
  5. 1 pinch yellow food colour
  6. 2 spoon melon seeds
  7. 2 spoon raisins
  8. 1 spoon chopped cashew
  9. 1 spoon milk
  10. 1/2 kg ghee


  1. In a pan put sugar and 1/2 cup of Water , heat until sugar melts.
  2. Add few drop of milk for impurities will collect on the surface in a layer.
  3. Add cardamom powder in sugar syrup.
  4. To check if the sugar syrup is ready, take a drop of the syrup and drop it in water if it remains intact and does not dissolve right away in water, the sugar syrup is ready.
  5. Now add baking powder, colour and water to gramflour and make a better without any lumps.
  6. Heat ghee in a deep frying pan.
  7. Put gramflour batter in boondi maker or round hole chhanni and drop the boondi directly in the midium hot ghee.
  8. Fry till light yellow and drain it.
  9. Add fried boondi,cashew, raisins, melon seeds into the sugar syrup and mix well.
  10. Let it be cool.
  11. Make laddoos by squeezing the boondi mixture in your palms and make round shape balls.
