Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Toor dal 1/4 cup
  2. Garlic cloves 3
  3. Onions chopped 2
  4. Tomatoes chopped 3
  5. Green chillies 3
  6. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Chilli powder 1 tsp
  9. Cumin powder 1/2tsp
  10. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt as required
  12. Coriander leaves few
  13. Kasuri methi 1tsp
  14. Oil

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the da lwith enough water ,salt , Turmeric powder and asafoetida
  2. Heat oil in a pan add garlic fry until slightly changes it's colour
  3. Add slit green chillies and ginger garlic paste fry for 30 second
  4. Add onions fry well , then add tomatoes
  5. Add all spice powder along with salt saute well until it becomes mushy
  6. Then add the dalwith stir it well
  7. Add coriander leaves and kasuri methi cook for sometime
