It's a delicious Kashmiri recipe where the deep fried potatoes are traditionally filled with paneer.

  2. Onion...1
  3. Tomato...1small
  4. garlic cloves...5
  5. ginger paste...1tspn
  6. Dry kashmiri red chilli...5
  7. Cloves...4
  8. cinnamon stick...1
  9. Green cardamom...2
  10. Paneer...5tspn
  11. Red chilli powder...2tspn
  12. cumin seeds...1tspn
  13. cumin powder...1tspn
  14. turmeric powder...1tspn
  15. cashew nut paste...2tspn
  16. Fresh cream...2tspn
  17. Decicated coconut...1tspn
  18. salt to taste
  19. mustard oil
  20. coriander leaves for decoration

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes & scoop out the flesh.Keep aside the flesh for filling.
  2. Heat 2tspn oil & fry the potato shells..Keep aside.
  3. Now add mashed potatoes flesh, decicated coconut,paneer, red chilli powder, cumin powder & salt.Cook it for 3 to 4 minutes. Don't add water.
  4. Boil the dry red chilli, chopped onion, garlic, tomato,cardamom, cloves & cinnamon stick in hot water.Make a paste then.
  5. Heat oil, add cumin seeds & bay leaves.After 2 to 3 minutes, add masala paste.Fry it for fews minutes.
  6. Add cashew paste ,fresh cream,salt & all spices.Fry it well.
  7. After few minutes add 2cup of hot water.Add green chilli if you want extra spice.
  8. Stuff the potato shell with filling.When the gravy will start to leave bubble, add stuffed potato & garam masala.Cover it & cook it well.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves & serve with prantha, roti.
