A delicious prepration of chicken with lovely aroma of methi and nice taste of cottage cheese.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken 500gms.
  2. Paneer 100gms.
  3. Fresh methi leaves 1cup.
  4. Kasuri methi 1table spoon.
  5. Ginger-garlic paste 1table spoon
  6. Chopped onion 1no.
  7. Garam madala powder 1tea spoon.
  8. Turmetic powder 1tea spoon.
  9. Red shilly powder 1table spoon.
  10. Coriander powder 1table spoon.
  11. Chopped green chilli 1no.
  12. Chopped tomato 1no.
  13. Oil 100 ml.
  14. Bay leaves 2nos.
  15. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Cut paneer into cubes of 1"×1"piece .Keep aside.
  2. Heat a pan ,addoil andfry paneer cubes lightly and take out ,add onion and fry till golden.Add chopped green chilli.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste,stir,add a little water and cook on low flame for 2 minutes.
  4. Add chicken pieces,stir and cook on high flame till water dries.
  5. Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder,bay leaves and chopped tomato.
  6. Cook on low flame till oil separates.
  7. Add 2cups water and bring to a boil.
  8. Add salt,cover the pan and cook on medium flame for 10minutes or chocken is half done.
  9. Meanwhile boil methi leaves in 1/2cup water for 2-3minutes on low/medium flame,make a puree of methi leaves.
  10. Now chicken is 70 %done ,add methi puree.Cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
  11. Add garam masala powder and paneer cubes.Stir ,cook on low flame for 2minutes.
  12. Adjust gravy by addind some water or of your desired consistency.
  13. Crush kasuri methi with hands,apply on chicken ,cover and put off flame.
  14. Leave for 5minutes,serve with naan/parathe.
