Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Milk powder 2 cups
  2. Baking powder 2 tsp
  3. Eggs 2
  4. Ghee melted 2 tbsp
  5. Flour 1 tsp leveled
  6. Ingredients for the sugar syrup:
  7. Sugar 2 cups
  8. Water 3 Cups
  9. Green cardamoms 4
  10. Orange color 2 drops

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the milk powder, baking powder and flour, then add in the melted ghee and mix it well.
  2. Add the eggs to it and knead well to form into a dough. If required add 1 or 2 tsp milk and make tiny balls shapes.
  3. Heat ghee in a wok and deep fry these balls on a low flame while continuously stirring with a spoon.
  4. In a pan, take water, sugar, green cardamom, then add the orange color and cook till the sugar dissolves for about 10 minutes. Add your fried jamuns into the sugar syrup.
  5. Cover and cook for 10 mins on a very low flame.
