ABOUT Punjabi Bindi Masala RECIPE

Bindi is rich in vitamin k . Bindi also has good amount of fiber . I make this for lunch for work

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups chopped bindi
  2. 1 large onion finely chopped
  3. 2 arge tomatoes finely chopped
  4. 1 spoon cumin powder
  5. 1 spoon dhania powder
  6. 1 spoon chilli powder
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 spoon kitchen king masala
  9. 4-5 spoons oil
  10. 1 spoon jeera

Instructions

  1. Take a pan and heat some oil, add the bindi and fry for 7-8 minutes on low flame
  2. Add a little chat masala
  3. Now take another pan and heat some oil, when it’s hot add the jeera
  4. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until onions caramelize for 4-5 minutes
  5. Now add tomatoes and sauté for 3-4 minutes
  6. Add the cumin, dhania, kitchen king masala and chilli powder
  7. Sauté well and when nicely cooked add salt
  8. Bindi masala is ready , serve with hot chappathis
