ABOUT Potato Chips RECIPE

Crispy home made potato chips,favourite of many and easy to make common snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 big potatoes.
  2. 4 cups of water.
  3. 1 tesp salt.
  4. Oil to fry.
  5. Pepper or chilli powder to sprinkle.

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the skin of potatoes.
  2. Add 1 tesp salt to the bowl of water .
  3. Slice the potatoes thinly into the bowl of water.
  4. Salted water prevents it from browning.
  5. Leave them for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the potato slices and spread them separately on a kitchen towel.
  7. Place a deep bottomed pan with oil on medium flame.
  8. Fry the sliced potatoes , stirring occasionally till the edges are light brown.
  9. Remove place on a paper napkins to remove excess oil.
  10. Fry them all, sprinkle pepper powder ,or red chilli powder.Both taste good.
  11. Store them in an air tight container.
