Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice 1cup
  2. Ghee /clarified butter 4tsp
  3. Milk 1cup
  4. Kashmiri saffron stigmas 1 tsp
  5. Water 2cups
  6. Onion sliced 1cup
  7. Salt 1tsp
  8. Almonds 8-10 pieces
  9. Apricot 8 pieces
  10. Cashew nuts 10Pieces
  11. Dry grapes 15Pieces
  12. Muskmelon fruit sliced 1/2 cup
  13. Apple pices 1/2 cup
  14. Green seedless grapes 1/2cup
  15. Pomogranite seeds 1/2 cup
  16. Corriander leaves 1/2cup
  17. Bay leaves 2
  18. Cardamon 4 pods
  19. Clove 4pieces
  20. Pineapple flowers 2
  21. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  22. Fennel seeds 1tsp
  23. Cinnamin 2inches

Instructions

  1. Keep all ingredients ready
  2. Keep all ingredients ready
  3. Heat the ghee in a pan, ghee roast all dry fruits, keepit aside.
  4. Fry onions untill they become brown and crisp, keepit aside
  5. Put all the spices in the pan, gheeroast well
  6. Wash and Basmati rice, fry for two minutes
  7. Add saffron to milk and leave for two minutes
  8. Add the same to pan and add water to cook, close lid till rice gets cooked, in the final stage add salt and turn off fire.Add dry fruits, fruits.
  9. Mix gently everything in the pan and serve hot.
  10. Kashmiri pulav is ready
