Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Minced mutton- 300 grams
  2. Puff pastry sheets- 3 salt to taste
  3. Medium sized finely chopped onions-2
  4. fennel seeds powder-2 Tbsps
  5. ginger grated- 2 Tbsps
  6. garlic grated - 2 Tbsps
  7. finely chopped curry leaves
  8. finely chopped coriander leaves
  9. desiccated coconut powder-2 Tbsps
  10. egg white- 1 egg
  11. Oil- 2 Tbsps
  12. poppyseeds Powder- 2 Tbsps
  13. Nuts powder ( almond,cashew,pecan, pistachio)-4 Tbsps
  14. Roasted chenna dal powder - 2 Tbsps
  15. Butter- 4 Tbsps
  16. Garam masala powder- 2 Tbsps
  17. turmeric powder-1 Tbsp
  18. Finely chopped green chilies-4
  19. Red chilly powder-2 Tbsps

Instructions

  1. Take minced meat,chopped coriander and curry leaves, chopped onions !
  2. Arrange all ingredients !
  3. In a saucepan add oil and 2 Tbsps butter !
  4. Add all masala ingredients and grated ginger garlic !
  5. Fry all over medium flame !
  6. Add chopped onions and sauté well !
  7. Add minced meat and sauté well !
  8. Add 1 cup water and cook !
  9. Add salt to taste and stir !
  10. After cooking the meat add nuts powder and poppy seeds powder and sauté !
  11. Remove from the heat and cool down !
  12. Add roasted chenna dal powder and mix well !
  13. The cooked minced meat should be room temperature!
  14. Pre heat the oven 180 degrees c
  15. Thaw the puff pastry if it is frozen !
  16. Cut each pastry sheet in to equal squares !
  17. Spoon the room temperature cooked keema in to the center of each square !
  18. wet the edges of the squares with water !
  19. Place another square pastry sheet over the stuffing !
  20. Press the edges to seal !
  21. Gently pock with a fork a few times !
  22. Brush the patties with beaten egg white !
  23. Cut out a sheet of foil !
  24. Line a large flat baking tray with it !
  25. Grease it with butter or spray lightly with oil !
  26. Place each patties on the foil making sure not place them too close to each other !
  27. Bake them in pre heated oven about 40 minutes or until golden brown !
  28. When done remove from the oven !
  29. Cut and serve with dipping sauce !
