Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Tomatoes 4
  2. Grapes 250 gms
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Sugar 1.5 cup
  5. Panch phoren 1 tsp
  6. Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp
  7. Black mustard seeds 1 tsp
  8. Whole red chilly 2
  9. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  10. Oil 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the whole red chilly fenugreek seeds,black mustard seeds and 1/2 tsp panch phoren
  2. Once cooled to make a powder
  3. Wash the grapes and tomatoes and make a paste of tomatoes
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add the panch phoren to crackle
  5. Add tomatoes paste and cook 2 to 3 mins in slow flame
  6. Add salt and turmeric powder and mix well
  7. Add sugar and cook on a slow flame for 4 to 5 mins
  8. Now add grapes and mix well cook for 4 to 5 mins
  9. Lastly add dry roasted powder and mix well
  10. Turn off the flame
  11. Serve with Puri paratha
