Methi chaman

Ingredients to make Methi chaman

  • 5 bunches of methi leaves
  • 5 bunches of palak leaves
  • 1 cup paneer
  • 1 onion
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbs musturd oil
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

How to make Methi chaman

  1. Blanch the spinach and methi leaves,blend it to a coarse paste.
  2. Heat the pan add 2 tbs mustard oil add whole garam masala,jeera, mustard seeds, then add chopped onions. Cook well.
  3. Now add butter, ginger garlic paste, chopped green chillies, cook well
  4. Now add methi palak paste, 1 tsp sugar, turmeric powder, coriander powder,garam masala, ginger powder, mix well. Cook it for 30 mins on low flame.
  5. Now add water to make gravy like consistancy cook it for 1 min, then, add paneer, and garam masala, cook for a min, then add fresh cream.mix well
  6. Serve hot with roti.
