it's a Gujarati delicasy very easy to make and very delicious in taste

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. besan 1 cup
  2. curd 1 cup
  3. salt
  4. ginger 1 inch piece
  5. green chilli 1-2
  6. sesame seeds 1 tsp
  7. mustard seeds 1 tsp
  8. coriander leaves chopped
  9. shredded coconut
  10. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. in a blender blend besan,curd,salt,turmeric powder,ginger and green chilli together to a fine paste
  2. add 2 cups of water and mix well
  3. in a non stick pan pour this liquid and cook on low flame for 4-5 mins till it thickens
  4. stir continuously so that there will be no lumps
  5. spread a thin layer this on the reverse side of a plate
  6. when cooled down cut into stripes
  7. now roll each piece and keep aside
  8. in a tadka pan take 1 tbsp oil,mustard seeds and sesame seeds,green chilli
  9. pour this on khandvi
  10. add chopped coriander leaves and shredded coconut and serve
