ABOUT Homemade Buttermilk RECIPE

Making buttermilk at home is simple. It is a versatile milk product that can be drunk as it is (salted/sweet) or used in baking.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 3 cup whole milk cream or malai
  2. 1/2 to 1 cup Water (chilled)
  3. Ice (as required)
  4. Salt to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. In the blender add the cream and ice together and blend it.
  2. At first the cream will appear smooth. Add some water and finally about 5 minutes later the milk will start to separate.
  3. You will see lumps of butter separating from the buttermilk.
  4. Strain the buttermilk through the strainer. Press down the butter with a strainer.
  5. Use the buttermilk as desired.

fine. In some videos they give the recipe of lassi and say its buttermilk. but this is the one.
