Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups rice
  2. 1 cup coriander leaves
  3. 1/2 a cup mint leaves
  4. 6-8 garlic cloves
  5. 1 inch ginger pieces
  6. 1 green chilli
  7. 1 lime's juice
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. 1 black cardamom
  10. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  11. 2 bay leaf
  12. 1 star anise
  13. 1 big spoon of oil
  14. 1 spoon cumin seeds
  15. 2 potatoes

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice atleast for 5 minutes then half boil
  2. In a mixer jar add coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger, garlic and green chilli and make fine paste Add lime juice
  3. In a pan heat the oil and add cumin seeds, black cardamom, bay leaf, cinnamon stick and star anise
  4. Add potatoes and fry it
  5. Then add half boiled rice and green paste
  6. Add salt and Mix it well
  7. Close the lid and Cook for 5 minuts in low flame
  8. Serve hot and enjoy the minti flavor of yummy chatni rice
