Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Poha 250 gm
  2. Curd 125 gm
  3. Oil 1 teaspoon
  4. Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Green Chillies 10
  6. Curry Leaves 6-8
  7. Hing/Asafoetida a pinch
  8. Garam Masala 1 teaspoon
  9. Haldi/ Turmeric 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Coriander, chopped 1 tbsp
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the Poha 3-4 times under running water. Then beat the curd till it is smooth in texture.
  2. Heat some oil in pan, add in the mustard seeds, chopped chillies, ginger, curry leaves and hing. Wait till it crackles and add the beaten curd to it.
  3. Add in the garam masala, salt, turmeric to the curd and mix it properly. Add the rinsed poha to the curd.
  4. Stir the mixture properly till it is thick. Try the spoon test (let the spoon stay in the mixture and see if it stands still in the mixture on it's own.)
  5. Let it cool. Then garnish it with coriander and serve!
