Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 150gm urad black dal(whole)
  2. 1/4 katori rajma
  3. 2 tea spoon chana dal
  4. 1 tea spoon jeera
  5. Kasuri methi
  6. 1 table spoon dahi
  7. 1.5 tea spoon turmeric powder
  8. 1.5 tea spoon dhaniya powder
  9. 2 tea spoon red chili powder
  10. 1 tea spoon amchur powder
  11. Ghee or butter
  12. 1 tea spoon hing powder
  13. 1/2 cup milk
  14. For puree
  15. 5 tomatoes
  16. 1 big sized onion
  17. 1 piece ginger
  18. 2-3 green chillies
  19. Chopped green coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Soak urad dal, rajma and chana dal overnight
  2. Give 2 whistle on high flame and den for 15-20 minutes on slow and medium flame
  3. Add milk and stir well
  4. Make puree of tomatoes, onion, ginger, green chillies and curd
  5. Take copper bottom vessel put ghee jeera add hing and puree add all spices
  6. As ghee starts leaving side add boiled dal and mix well
  7. Let it cook on low flame, add chopped fresh green coriander leaves
  8. Dal is ready to serve
