Ellu Bella is Karnataka special sweet mix prepared during Sankranti festival with great saying "Ellu Bella tindu olle mathadi" . It is packed with proteins and minerals, it's tasty and nutty.

Ingredients Serving: 4
Sesame seeds - 1/2 cup
jaggery - 1/2 cup
Ground nuts - 1/2 cup
Roasted Chana dal - 1/2 cup
Dry coconut - 1/2 cup
Candid cumin - 1/4 cup
White pearl sugar ball - 1/4 cup
Instructions
Remove the brown part of dry coconut and cut into small pieces.
Also cut jaggery into small pieces, use yellow mould jaggery if available.
Take a pan dry roast ground nuts on low flames till changes color and gets nice aroma. After take it into plate let it cool and remove its skin.
In the same pan fry sesame seeds on low flames till it starts crackling and take it into plate.
Now fry roasted Chana dal for a minute and take it into plate. Let all the fried ingredients cool to room temperature.
Add jaggery, white pearl sugar balls, candid cumin to the above fried ingredients and mix everything well.
