ABOUT Aloo Paratha RECIPE

These aloo parathas are quite different from regular ones and are easy to make, without any fancy ingredients.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 4 medium sized potatoes (boil and mashed)
  2. 1 medium sized onion (finely chopped)
  3. Coriander leaves (as per your choice)
  4. 1 and 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  5. 1 teaspoon coriander seed powder
  6. 1 and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  7. Salt as per your taste
  8. Ghee for shallow frying
  9. For the dough:
  10. 2 cups of maida/flour
  11. 1 tablespoon salt
  12. 2 tablespoons of ghee
  13. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Knead the dough in the regular method.
  2. Mash the boiled potatoes, add the finely chopped onion, coriander leaves, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder and salt. Mix this stuffing well together.
  3. Make small balls of the dough, take a dough ball and place a tablespoon of the stuffing on it. Then roll it with the help of a rolling pin.
  4. Shallow fry these parathas with ghee.
  5. Serve it hot.
