A low calorie protein rich curry for the weight watchers and diabetics

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 medium sized bottlegourd diced
  2. 1/2 cup split moong dal soaked
  3. 1 onion chopped
  4. 5 to 6 clove garlic chopped
  5. 1 TOMATO CHOPPED
  6. 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  7. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Garm masala 1 tsp
  10. coriander leaves chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in pan. Add chopped onion, garlic, saute for some time. Add the dal. Mix well. Now add all badic masalas and tomatoes.
  2. Cook well covered for 5 to 6 min
  3. Add the bottlegourd. Mix well. Add some water and cook covered for 7 to 8 min on low flame. Add garam masala
  4. Cook till soft. Garnish with coriander
