ABOUT Poached Eggs RECIPE

I have seen many people ordering poached eggs in breakfast but they never make it at home. The reason behind this is they think its difficult to get the perfect poached egg. So here I am providing the simplest way to make it.

  1. Eggs 2
  2. vinegar 1-2 tablespoon
  3. 3 to 4 inches of water in sauce pan

Instructions

  1. 1. The first and most important step is to get fresh eggs. As this will help as achieve restaurant style poached egg. Also gather all equipment before hand like fine mesh sieve, slotted spoon and 2 small bowls.
  2. 2. Crack eggs into fine mesh to remove loose egg white and let it separate naturally. Remember – Not to get confused between loose egg white from separating egg white. We are just removing the watery liquid. So, it doesn’t flood on surface
  3. 3. Transfer egg into small bowl as it will be easy for us to drop the egg in water.
  4. 4. Now place the saucepan with 3 to 4 inches of water on low to medium flame.
  5. 5. Remember – Here we are looking bubbles in bottom of pan and not the big bubbles on the surface braking the water as it will spoil our egg.
  6. 6. Add 1 tbsp of vinegar in water and create a vortex and drop the eggs right in middle.
  7. 7. Set the timer for 3 minutes and carefully take it out with the slotted spoon. If you want your egg to be firmer add another 30 seconds.
  8. 8. Enjoy poached eggs with toasted bread or English muffin.
