Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. properly clean and wash the paya with warm water and lil vinegar
  2. 4 chopped onions
  3. 7 to 8 green chilli paste
  4. 2 tablespoon of ginger paste
  5. 3 tablespoon garlic paste
  6. 3 teaspoon coriander powder
  7. teaspoon of red chilli powder
  8. one teaspoon of turmeric powder
  9. half teaspoon garam masala powder
  10. Khada masala including :
  11. 4 cloves
  12. 6 black pepper
  13. 1inch stick of dalchini
  14. 5 green cardamon
  15. 2 black cardamon
  16. 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  17. 1teaspoon saunf
  18. 2 bay leaves
  19. 1 phool
  20. salt to taste


  1. properly clean and watch the Paya pieces
  2. add the pieces into a pressure cooker
  3. now add chopped onions
  4. Ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, red chilli powder , turmeric powder ,coriander powder,...
  5. and Garam Masala, salt , Khada Garam Masala
  6. Add all the spices together into the pressure cooker and give it at least 10 to 12 whistles
  7. now check if the pieces are done
  8. if required give more whistles to the pieces and if not then add water accordingly as per the required consistency
  9. Cook till the cook till the consistency is met...
  10. now switch off the flame and Sprinkle some chopped coriander on it...
