Idli made from oats and rawa with veggies served with green chutney and tamarind chutney

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dry Roast Oats 1.5cup
  2. Dry roast semolina 1/2cup
  3. 1onion chopped
  4. Green chilly chopped
  5. salt as per taste
  6. Red pepper powder
  7. Chat masala pinch
  8. curd 1.5cup
  9. Green chutney
  10. tamarind chutney
  11. Eno 1 sachet


  1. Make powder of dry roasted oats.
  2. Mix dry roasted semolina and oats powder with curd to form an idli batter.
  3. Keep aside this batter for 15mins
  4. Take a frying pan and saute the chopped onions and green chillies in oil.
  5. Add curry leaves haldi,salt,red pepper powder etc
  6. Now add this mixture in batter and add some water if needed.
  7. Now add eno to the batter
  8. Now grease the idli mould with oil and add water in the mould
  9. Microwave it for 2-3mins.check once done with a toothpick.
  10. You can also add more veggies to thebatter.
  11. Serve these idlis with green chutney and tamarind chutney
