ABOUT Vegetable fried rice RECIPE

A quick meal that can be cooked in 10 minutes. All you need is some precooked rice and some veggies.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Precooked basmathi rice- 1 cup
  2. Carrots and Cabbage, finely chopped - 1/2 cup
  3. Capsicum (green, red and yellow) - 1/2 cup
  4. Paneer, diced - 1/4 cup
  5. Garlic, finely chopped - 2 tsp
  6. Ginger, finely chopped - 2 tsp
  7. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  8. Green chilli sauce - 1 tsp
  9. White pepper powder- 2 tsp
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a wok, heat some oil and add the finely chopped ginger and garlic.
  2. Once they turn golden, add the carrots, cabbage and saute for a minute.
  3. Add the bell peppers, pepper powder, soy sauce, green chilli sauce and salt. Then add the paneer and saute for a minute.
  4. Add the pre cooked rice, toss well and let the flavours sink in. (This should take no more than a minute.)
  5. Check for seasoning and serve it hot.
