ABOUT Tricolor mini idli RECIPE

Idlis are steamed rice cakes originating from the southern part of India and mostly taken as breakfast or dinner and are easily metabolized by the body.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Idli-500-gm
  2. Urad dal-250-gm
  3. Fenugreek seeds-5-gm


  1. Ferment the thick batter for 1-2 hours by placing it in a warm place to get soft and fluffy idlis.
  2. Grease the mini idli mould with oil and pour 1/2 tbsp of batter to moulds and steam it in a cooker or well covered vessel with 1/2 cup of boiling water and covered by the lid.
  3. After 5 mins take out from the heat and with the help of a spoon take out the idlis after it cools down lil bit.
