Dhokla is a Gujarati recipe prepared with gram flour. This is delicious and easy to digest and can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch. This recipe also makes for a perfect healthy snack option, it can be prepared using easily available ingredients.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Suji / Semolina / Rava -1.5-cup
  2. Dahi / curd-1-cup
  3. Lemon juice-1-tbsp
  4. Ginger paste-1-tbsp
  5. Oil -4-tbsp
  6. Salt-1-1tsp
  7. Rye -1-tbsp
  8. Sesame/til-1-tsp
  9. curry leaves-2-tsp
  10. Green chilli-2 or 3-pcs
  11. Water-3-tbsp


  1. Mix sooji curd ginger paste lemon juice
  2. Divide the batter into 3 parts and add Orange n green food color
  3. Add eno to all the 3 batter for instant dhokla. To make instant dhoklaa and to make your dhokla soft spongy and fluffy
  4. Put the batter in the microwave safe bowl and microwave one by one for about 1 min and 30 seconds
  5. Make a tadka or tempering of your dhokla for your dhokla
  6. Pour the tadka on top of your dhokla and your tri color dhokla is ready to serve and enjoy
  7. You can cut it in enjoy it.
