A very famous Pakistani dish. As I am a great foodie and love cooking for my family, I keep trying out new recipes and even innovate my own. This is one such recipe. I am really proud of this recipe of mine and I made a few changes to this according to the needs and demands of my family and friends. Check it out friends. You will love it!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 whole large sized chicken, cleaned and given deep cuts or incision
  2. yogurt about 100 gm
  3. chilli Powder 2 tbsp
  4. Kabab masala or tandoori masala 1 tbsp
  5. Roasted coriander powder 1 tbsp
  6. roasted cumin powder 1 tbsp
  7. GARAM masala 1 TBSP
  8. Whole garam masalas (like nutmeg mace and cardamom (badi elaichi) all roasted and powdered)
  9. salt to taste
  10. oil for frying


  1. Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients and keep it in the fridge for 2 hours atleast. ( For best results marinate it overnight.)
  2. The next step is to steam the chicken. (This is necessary because it gives it an authentic touch.) Steam it for 15 mins.
  3. Next fry it in hot oil on a medium flame for the next 15 mins while turning it occasionally to ensure even frying.
  4. Serve it hot with raita and salad, either rice or naan.
