Potato fry in my style cooked with curry leaves.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Potato 2 medium sized
  2. 1 and 1/2 tbsp chilli powder
  3. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  4. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  5. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  6. 1 tbsp sambar powder
  7. 2 tbsp rice flour
  8. 3 tbsp oil
  9. Few curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Peel the potato skins. Then wash and cut them into thick slices.
  2. Take a microwave safe bowl, add enough water and microwave it for 5 minutes.
  3. Take a plate, add all the ingredients except the rice flour, add little water to make a paste.
  4. Meanwhile keep the rice flour on a plate. Now take the potato slice, rub the paste on the slices of the potato, sprinkle rice flour and rub it. Keep it aside.
  5. Heat the pan, add oil to heat, then add the potato slices, next add the curry leaves and let the potato cook on a low flame.
  6. Flip the potato fry till it's crispy and brown in color. (If you want it more crispy, add more oil.)
  7. Serve it with sambar rice, curd rice or with rasam rice or just eat it as a starter.
