This is my very own creation of moong dal paratha. Very healthy and tasty too
sounds like a yummy one! the filling will be nice im sure
Soak moong dal in water for 4 to 5 hours (preferably overnight).
In morning, wash moong dal with water and then cook it in a pressure cooker (2 whistles). Let it cool down
Take 2 cups of wheat flour and add water so as to prepare a dough and keep it aside.
Now, take boiled green moong dal in a bowl, add red chilli powder, chopped corainder, chat masala and salt. Mix well
Prepare a small balls of a dough. Take one ball and stuff it with moong dal mixture
Now, divide the atta dough into 6 equal portions. Take one ball each and flatten it and apply some ghee on it.
Place the stuffing mixture in the centre and bring the edges together to form a ball. Now flatten it with rolling pin and place it over on a heated tawa and after 30 seconds turn it over and spread some ghee around it.
Turn over again and spread some more ghee on the other side of the parantha. Cook both sides, until they are well cooked.
Enjoy with curd ( you can add 2 pinches of black pepper and a pinch of salt to it)
