Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4-5 pieces of rohu fish
  2. 1 big boiled potato
  3. Ginger Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  4. 2 big onions
  5. Curd 1/2 cup
  6. Haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Mustard oil for frying
  10. Tomato puree 1 pack
  11. Roasted gram flour 2 tsp
  12. Garam Masala powder as per taste
  13. Chopped coriander leaves 1 bunch

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the fish, remove the skin and bones.
  2. In a pan heat some oil, add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste. Saute for a while.
  3. Add salt, garam masala powder and chopped green chilies. Next add in the fish and potato.
  4. Mix well and add some chopped coriander leaves. Add some roasted gram flour. Make small equal size balls.
  5. Deep fry these balls, drain on a tissue and keep aside.
  6. For making the gravy, put oil in a pan and add onion paste to saute for some time.
  7. Add in ginger garlic paste, some tomato puree, salt, haldi, red chilli powder and curd.
  8. Cook till the oil separates. Add in the fried koftas.
  9. Do not cook for long otherwise the koftas will break.
  10. Finally add some garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
