Ingredients to make Rice Kheer

  • 1/2 cup rice
  • sugar as per taste
  • 2 liter milk
  • 1/2 tsp elaichi powder

How to make Rice Kheer

  1. Soak rice in water for 10 minutes.
  2. Keep half of the milk to boil, boil till it becomes half in quantity, it will also change its color to slight reddish tiinge. Turn off the gas.
  3. On the other hand, put soaked rice in the cooker and give 1 whistle, cool and open add in the rest of the milk. Keep to boil on a slow flame, let it boil, add sugar and elaichi powder in the milk.
  4. Boil it for 5 minute when sugar melts, turn off the gas, sever hot or chilled.
